Use the following instructions to uninstall the PRM mobilization equipment and return the equipment to the shipping box.

Uninstall skates and accessories

Once all the fixtures have been relocated, begin the removal and storage process as follows:

  1. Verify PRM skates are lowered
    • Ensure all PRM skates are fully lowered and that the pallet rack is resting securely on the floor.
  2. Detach saddles
    • Once each fixture is completely lowered, detach the saddle from the upright.
      • If the saddle was front-mounted, it must first be separated from the skate before detaching it from the upright. Once removed from the upright, reattach the saddle to the skate.
  3. Remove Outriggers
    • Do not remove the outrigger until the PRM skate has been returned near the PRM cart.
      • Once near the cart, remove the outrigger and secure it to the side of the PRM skate in the designated outrigger storage.
  4. Prepare for storage
    • As PRM skates are removed and prepared for storage, place each skate back into the designated workflow carts. Once all skates and accessories are secured in the carts, roll the workflow carts back into the PRM shipping box.
      • Pack all components neatly and exactly as they were received. Improper loading may prevent the box from closing properly.

When returning the PRM equipment to the storage box, follow these steps:

  1. Inspect the equipment
    • Before loading, check for the following and report any issues to your supervisor:
      • Missing items
      • Damaged parts
      • Water or moisture inside the shipping box
  2. Be sure to properly close the doors and secure the latches.
